Only males have horns, they form herds of 15-20 with dominant male, bachelor herds and solitary males. These mixed feeders are abundant and drinking water is essential.

Due to the abundance in impala , the hunt appears to be easier, 15-20 pairs of eyes makes it difficult.
Bow hunting these quick animals is a challenge , they are known for string jump.
